Lenape Indians
The Lenape Indians were called "The Original People". They were also known as the Lenni-Lenape or Delaware Indians. They were part of the Algonquin nation, and lived in New Jersey, the eastern part of Pennsylvania along the shores of the Delaware River, the northern shores of Delaware, and the lower Hudson Valley in New York.
